Mars Finance news: According to MacRumors, three iOS users sued Apple in a U.S. federal court in California, accusing it of downloading counterfeit Sparrow Wallet apps from the App Store between May and August 2025, after which the three together lost about $1.8 million in Bitcoin. The lawsuit claims that even when victims reported the fraud, Apple often took little or no action, and other fake Sparrow apps remained on the App Store. Sparrow Wallet developer Craig Raw publicly criticized Apple for reacting slowly to the appearance of multiple impersonation versions of his app on the App Store, failing to take down fake apps in a timely manner, and noting that other fake versions still exist.
