That previous stretch of the market was really torturous—the price kept tugging around the 0.46953 area. The shorts could see a chance, but every time it got dumped, it was quickly pulled back. At the time, I also felt a bit itchy, but I didn’t let a few rebound candles change my mind. What really made me keep watching was that the high area never formed any decent support.
After that, there was a spike and then a reversal back down. The selling pressure finally showed itself completely, and right after that, the chart began to weaken continuously. The short position moved from 0.46953 to 0.02963. In the end, the result was +2297.43%. This move wasn’t based on guessing—it was about waiting for the market to expose the problem by itself.
Many people like to chase after the market starts moving, but the truly comfortable rhythm often comes from that earlier grind that nobody is willing to wait through. After it dropped, I became even more convinced by the short thesis, but I also reminded myself: being right doesn’t mean you’ll hold on to it every time—mindset is the easiest thing to get driven off course by those little needle-like spikes.
