Intel Delivers Strongest Quarter in Years as Q2 2026 Revenue Jumps 25%

Intel reported an impressive $16.1 billion in Q2 2026 revenue, up 25% year over year, beating market expectations. The company also posted $0.42 adjusted EPS, nearly double analyst forecasts, while operating cash flow climbed to $7 billion, reflecting stronger execution and improving profitability.

The biggest growth driver was Intel's Data Center & AI business, fueled by accelerating AI adoption and expanding cloud infrastructure. Meanwhile, the Client Computing Group also exceeded expectations, showing resilient demand in the PC market. Intel continues to invest heavily in its future, raising 2026 capital spending to more than $20 billion while advancing its 18A manufacturing process and foundry expansion.

For Q3 2026, Intel expects revenue between $15.8 billion and $16.8 billion, signaling continued momentum. Although restructuring charges resulted in a large reported net loss, the underlying business is showing meaningful progress as CEO Lip-Bu Tan's turnaround strategy takes shape.

Intel's latest results highlight how AI is reshaping the semiconductor industry. If execution remains strong, the company could continue narrowing the competitive gap while benefiting from long-term demand for AI infrastructure and advanced chip manufacturing.
