Deep Tide TechFlow news: On July 26, according to a report by South Korean media, Samsung Electronics chairman Lee Jae-yong met with OpenAI founder Sam Altman at OpenAI’s headquarters in San Francisco to discuss cooperation plans in artificial intelligence and the semiconductor sector. On the 25th morning, local time, Lee Jae-yong and Altman held talks at their San Francisco headquarters. OpenAI did not disclose the specific content or agenda of the discussions, but industry observers believe the two sides likely focused on deepening cooperation on AI infrastructure such as high-bandwidth memory, dynamic random-access memory (DRAM), and advanced wafer foundry outsourcing. The two sides may also have discussed digital transformation plans to roll out generative AI across Samsung’s full business lines. (Jin10)
