This drop didn’t come all that suddenly—the real surprise is for those still chasing the rebound. Just a moment ago they were full of expectations, and in the blink of an eye they’re left watching the shorts take over the rhythm.

A few days ago, before sleep, I repeatedly checked how $WIF was performing around WIF. The rebound became increasingly hard to pull off—the overhead suppression was obvious. The moment sell orders appeared, price immediately pulled back downward. The so-called “show of strength” never truly held its ground. So I warned back then: the “inducing longs” flavor was a bit too heavy—don’t risk it just to go for that final push higher.

I opened a long around 0.1891 with a short position closing. The current price is now 0.1574. This realization record for the trade is +812.39%. It was slow and messy at first, but once it played out, it turned out absolutely worth it.

Position handling isn’t complicated: first close 80%, keep the remaining 20% for observation, and put protection in place at the cost basis. If it’s time to take profits, take them—don’t be greedy for the last bite. If it continues to press down, let the profits slowly extend.

No matter how much unrealized profit you have, it isn’t truly yours until you’ve taken it out. Chasing additional trades can leave you stuck on the mountaintop. If you didn’t catch it, don’t worry—just wait for the next, more comfortable opportunity.
