I only wanted to grab some breakfast, but the order book first served a meal to the shorts. When the market dumped at the start of the day, $PENGU was still hovering at a high level—on the surface it looked like it was trying to hold steady, but in reality every rebound lacked strength. I saw that the overhead pressure hadn’t loosened and the trading volume was low; the bids couldn’t catch. So I concluded this wasn’t a strong continuation—it was leaving a window for the shorts.
At that time, I opened a long position around 0.008192. The price later pulled back to 0.006233; the +1698.53% was already realized. That profit was delicious. I took profit on 80%, and moved the remaining 20%’s protection level to around the entry cost. If it keeps dropping further, let the profit run. Even if there’s a rebound, don’t give back the earlier gains.
The market is something you wait out, and profits are something you hold onto. If a short position has profit, know how to close it—don’t turn realized gains into just a paper performance.
Friends who haven’t boarded yet, take my advice: this is not the time to chase shorts. Don’t add your final blow after a sharp selloff. Wait for the next wave of signals before you act—there will be opportunities. Don’t be in a hurry.
