Unitree Robotics is really, really impressive. In the past, I used to wonder—why is it still a remotely controlled robot that doesn’t seem to have any real “brain”? What’s the point of making something like this?


But I never thought about it: as long as you take a “brainless” but extremely strong body to the extreme—make it the best and also the cheapest body—then the body itself is invincible.
In the past, I thought it was bad because I imagined some company independently building a perfect robot: with a good “brain,” a great body, and still cheap.
