I originally just wanted a quick look at the market, but the shorts went ahead and wrote the answer for me. When the market was smashed earlier in the day, $TRUMP started loosening from the high point; the rebound had no strength, and when it pushed up, nobody stepped in. This kind of stubborn, forced holding pattern is often more worth watching than a straight drop.

A few days ago, I observed TRUMP at night. The price kept probing from above repeatedly, but it never formed a valid breakout. The moment sell pressure came out, it quickly fell back. My thinking at the time was very clear: don’t chase longs—wait for it to show fatigue, then handle it according to the shorts’ rhythm.

I executed a long around 2.056. Now it’s back to 1.566, and the short position has been realized for +1691.06%. This round—timing was dead on. It feels really great.

Take the bulk of the profit first: close 80%, and then move the protection level to around the cost basis with the remaining 20%. If it keeps selling off, let the profits run; if it rebounds, don’t give back the profits you’ve already taken.

Don’t get suddenly excited and chase a short while the price is falling. The market is something you wait for, and profits are something you hold onto. For friends who haven’t gotten on yet, don’t be in a hurry—missing this move doesn’t mean there’s no opportunity. Wait until the next wave of signals is clearer before you act.
