I originally thought this market move would keep grinding on, but after the afternoon session opened, it directly slapped the answer in my face. When it dumped during the session, $ICP repeatedly pushed down from the high; ICP’s rebound didn’t have continuity, and the volume couldn’t keep up—clearly nobody was picking up the bids after the move up.

I saw that the overhead resistance was still effective, so I didn’t get dragged along by the short-term pullback; when the price returned to around 2.528, I only then executed the long. Watch the order book and take the signal first, then decide the direction—this kind of short position feels more solid.

Now the current price is 2.155, and this short’s realization is +708.65%. Earlier it was really slow and grindy, but once it played out, it’s absolutely worth it.

First close 80%, keep the remaining 20% while staying alert; place the protection level around the entry cost. If it keeps selling off further, let the profit run. If there’s a sudden rebound, at least you won’t spit back the results you’ve already taken.

Profit shouldn’t get inflated, and drawdown shouldn’t be hopeless. The market is something you wait for, and profit is something you hold onto. This isn’t the time to rush. Missing this leg doesn’t matter—move when the next wave of signals comes out.
