I stepped away from the screen to take a sip of water, and when I came back, this high-level tug-of-war was already over. A few days ago in the afternoon, $BNB was still ranging above—probing up and down—while the price never managed to hold steady. When it pushed up, there was no volume; the moment sell pressure showed up, it instantly looked weak.
Before the market was fully up and running, I watched the changes in BNB’s ability to absorb orders. I could see that each time it tried to surge, it felt like it was just one step away from a decisive break—but I concluded the “baiting longs” vibe was strong, so it wasn’t suitable to chase longs anymore. When it came near 639.40, I followed the plan and opened a long—no getting entangled with fake strength.
The current price is down to 569.3, and the short position’s profit rate shows +777.91%—it really is satisfying. The calmer it was before the turn, the more it tests your execution afterward.
If you’re going to take profit, take it. Handle 80% first; lift the remaining 20%’s protection level to around the cost basis. If it continues falling, let the position run with it; if there’s a pullback, lock in the profits.
Pros die from bottom-picking, and retail traders die from chasing orders. Only the clear-headed act on the part they can understand. If you haven’t entered yet, don’t rush to add—wait until the new structure forms and then reassess.
