i feel like @longdotxyz is making the same mistakes @Noxa_Fi made. right idea at the right time, but struggling to turn attention into trust.
here's everything that's broken, and what the team needs to fix fast:
1/ the creator fee system is a slow rug
token deployer receives trading fees forever. and they can sell them forever. the $JACKET dev has been dumping his fee since day one, and holders can't do anything about it. that's part of why @bankrbot's jacket flipped long's jacket.
worse: there is no way to redirect fees. the $TREX community publicly asked for a CTO fee redirect 3 days in a row. no answer.
fix: a setFeeRecipient function and a clear CTO process. dead or malicious dev = community claims the stream. bankr already routes fees properly, this is not hard tech.
2/ 1.7% per trade vs bankr charges 0.8%
more than double the closest competitor, with zero documentation on where it goes. the only public breakdown of long's fee structure came from a community member.
fix: one page. starting mc, token distribution, long's cut, dev's cut, lp share. if you can't justify 1.7%, cut it.
3/ "fees go to jensen" was a lie
$JACKET on long claimed fees were routed to jensen huang. on-chain: they go to the dev's wallet. on bankr, the jensen coin sends fees to him.
fix: verify fee recipients in the app. "fees go to X" should be a checked, on-chain-proven badge.
4/ a fake $GME ran to $2m mc
the ticker was "reserved", nobody knew which contract was real, a spoofed version pumped to 2m and dusted everyone. the clarification came through dm screenshots. people posted "i lost everything" under the team's replies.
fix: an official registry of verified pairs, pinned and visible in-app.
5/ the founder's own token is exhibit A
$SPACEHOOD, deployed by @Natan_benish himself, sat with ~$40k of unclaimed fees while the chart bled out. you cannot ask devs to support their tokens when the reference token shows the opposite.
fix: claim them, put them in the lp. lead by example or don't lead.
(credit where due: the new 25-50% of protocol fees recycled into liquidity daily is exactly the right move.)
