This short position actually waited for quite a while. The price had been repeatedly grinding up and down beforehand, and several times the price probed downward but didn’t truly break through lower. At one point, I almost lost patience. After another rebound attempt around 16.26 showed no strength, that’s when I decided to keep watching this level—I didn’t want to throw away my original judgment just because of a brief rally.

The middle part was especially torturous. After I placed the short, the market didn’t respond right away; instead, it swept back and forth several times. Honestly, that was the moment when it was easiest to lose your mindset, but every time the price surged, it didn’t establish sustained follow-through. The rebound looked more like draining the last bit of strength from the longs.

Later, the price fell from 16.26 to 14.61, and the result was +720.02%. Seeing the sell-off actually arrive made the earlier waiting meaningful. This wasn’t carried by luck—it was the details of repeated resistance at the high finally converging into execution.

Trading futures can’t be just focused on the current single candle. Being too急 makes it easy to get washed out, and being too greedy can also throw off your rhythm. This time I was able to catch the downside because I wasn’t worn down by grinding. My judgment stayed the same, and my actions didn’t get out of sync.
