This short order could be taken, but the key isn’t chasing after seeing the market fall; it’s that after the earlier push up to a high, the order book still didn’t really catch/hold. Around 0.4506, I put the short thesis into observation first. Only after a rebound got pushed down again did I confirm this wasn’t a normal pullback.
That stretch of grinding was really torture. The price tried several times to push higher, but every time, selling pressure pinned it back down. Honestly, I was a bit panicky at the time too—most of all, I feared that after a fake breakout, the market would keep dumping. But the short logic wasn’t broken. I didn’t get carried away just because of a few rebound candles.
Later, the market moved from 0.4506 all the way to 0.2963. The outcome of this trade already corresponds to +839.7%. Watching the drop get realized step by step, I actually didn’t feel especially excited—more like I was grateful I didn’t jump off hastily while under pressure at the highs.
If you’ve been in crypto long enough, you know the real difficulty isn’t just judging the direction—it’s judging whether you can still hold on after you’re right. What made me recognize this time is that the market’s own behavior gave the answer. The short wasn’t guessed; it was arrived at through repeated validation.
