Not sure what to post anymore—it’s actually the norm for a lot of creators.
In the past, every day I opened X, and my head was full of ideas:
If the market drops today, you can talk about risk; if it rises, you can talk about greed.
When a certain earnings report comes out, you can break down EPS; when a coin dumps again, you can blame leverage……
What about now?
You open your phone—and it’s blank.
It’s not that there’s no material.
There’s so much of it that it’s ridiculous.
It’s just that suddenly I wonder: what’s the point of posting?
If you post too much, you’re afraid you’ll sound like a broken record.
If you post too little, the algorithm just buries you.
If you post something serious, the comment section is full of nitpickers.
If you post something light, you feel like you’re wasting your followers’ time.
So I get stuck in the middle:
I want to post, but I don’t know what to say;
If I don’t post, I feel like the account is slowly dying.
Honestly, that’s the most real state.
It’s not that inspiration is drained—it’s that you start learning to be selective.
In the past, I wanted to say everything. Now I start thinking: is this line worth posting?
Will this viewpoint be misunderstood again?
Is this emotion something only I’m going through?
When you don’t know what to post, it’s often a sign you’re making progress.
Because you finally stop posting just to post.
So tonight I’m not going to force content.
I’ll just post this.
If you also often open the app, stare at the blank input box, and do nothing—you’re not lazy. You’re just starting to take it seriously.
I’ll post tomorrow.
Or the day after tomorrow.
Anyway, the account is still here, and so am I.
