🇮🇳 THIS COULD RESHAPE HOW GOVERNMENTS WORK. 🤯

Karnataka isn't testing an AI chatbot for citizens. It's putting AI inside the actual machinery of government.
Here's what's happening:
• Karnataka's IT Minister sat down with Anthropic's India leadership on July 11
• Two working groups are forming right now, one with the Home Department, one with the state's e-Governance centre
• Their job: find real use cases where AI can analyze government data, not just digitize forms
• Claude certifications are rolling out statewide for students and professionals
• Startups and developers get direct access to build on top of it
• Nothing is signed yet. This is the working-group phase, before the real build starts
The part nobody's saying out loud: this isn't an upgrade to e-governance. It's a replacement for it.
Every government portal built in the last 15 years just digitized paperwork. Forms went online. Nothing got smarter. Karnataka is explicitly calling this jump "i-governance," AI systems that can read what's actually happening in government data and act on it, not just store it.
If this works, every state watching copies the blueprint. If it doesn't, it becomes the cautionary tale every AI-in-government skeptic points to for a decade.
Karnataka just volunteered to find out first.
