The last look before bed was still flat, but by morning it had already changed its mood. This kind of market really tests patience. It didn’t genuinely break through— it just kept pushing the price up into the high range repeatedly, and then the follow-through got thinner and thinner. Naturally, the shorts waited until the timing window came.
Before the market was fully underway, I noticed $BTC ’s rebound was getting shorter and shorter. BTC kept getting continuously pressured from above, and volume didn’t follow through either. When I saw this low-volume push, I didn’t gamble that it would keep charging higher. Instead, around 76886.0, I opened a long and set the risk boundary first.
Now the price is at 64164.4, and unrealized floating profit on the position has been realized as +2875.72%. This run hasn’t been in vain. First close 80% to lock in the bulk; then move the remaining 20%’s stop-loss protection to around the entry cost. If it keeps dumping lower, let it run. If it rebounds back, don’t hand back the profits you’ve already taken.
Risk control done ahead of time is called being rational. Cutting after you’re losing is called a brave act of decisive cutting. Even if you only manage to take away a segment, as long as you can bring something with you, it’s yours. Chasing orders can easily get stuck on the mountaintop—there are opportunities. Don’t rush. Wait for the next round of signal before you move.
