This short position entry wasn’t pretty this time. That preceding pull-down really startled people. I didn’t rush to get out, and I didn’t chase longs just because of my emotions either. I simply observed whether there was real support being taken around 2.0071. As the rebound kept getting weaker, the sell pressure, instead, came wave after wave.

There was a needle-like spike in the middle that almost washed me out. The fluctuations on the screen looked very stimulating, and my mindset was truly being tugged back and forth. Later, the price dropped back below the key level again, moving from 2.0071 to 1.4574. This outcome left me with +1320.37%—a sort of feedback for patience.

Many times, the most dangerous thing isn’t an obvious dump. It’s when things still look lively at the high end, but in reality nobody is willing to keep taking orders anymore. The more people chase positions, the easier it is for the support below to loosen—this is also why I wasn’t thrown off by that surge.

Seasoned old players in the crypto space all know: even if you’re right, you might still not be able to hold. What’s truly difficult is whether, after being frightened by adverse moves, you can still stay clear-headed. This time, I managed to hold my emotions—but in the future, I won’t relax my vigilance just because I’m eating profits.
