Honestly, the biggest test in this trade isn’t judgment—it’s waiting. The price had been grinding at high levels for a long time; several times I tried to break upward but couldn’t get a foothold. I didn’t rush into it until there was clear selling pressure around 4.25647, and that’s when I started paying attention to the short opportunity.
After the position was opened, the market didn’t immediately crash. Instead, it repeatedly oscillated—the whole process was pretty tormenting. When I felt itchy and wanted to exit early, looking back showed that every rebound didn’t have sustained follow-through. In the end, the price was pushed down to 0.15024. I record this post-trade review result as +1899.51%.
Many retail traders don’t misread the direction; they get worn down by the grind of the “mill” until their patience runs out—then once they’ve left, the move shows up. Luckily, this time I didn’t change my plan because of how long it went sideways, and I didn’t chase every single drop to add emotions. What let me hold through it was observing the finer details of the order book and price action.
After this wave of decline, my assessment of high-level resistance became even more convinced. It’s not because the result came out and then I explained it back—because the problem was already there during the rise. Once the market puts the answer on the table, what’s left is just controlling yourself and not chasing recklessly.
