Just after digesting the bearish signal, most people’s first reaction is to wait for a rebound, but I found that the market couldn’t even organize a decent pullback. $ALT This drop is decisive in that there’s simply no sustained follow-through from above. 📉

While everyone is still watching, I can tell from ALT’s performance that every time it tries to push higher, it’s weaker than before; sell pressure keeps building up, and every time the price bumps into the upside, it gets pushed back down. After I’ve made a clear judgment, I chose to open a long position around 0.008374, not to keep wobbling back and forth with fake strength.

The current price is now 0.006105, and the recorded return on the short position is +664.14%. There’s nothing fancy here—the whole point is waiting for the moment the lack of support becomes evident. What I’m taking is a planned retracement for realized gains. If you get the rhythm right, it feels comfortable.

First, pull back 80% of the position; keep the remaining 20% for a possible continuation, and move the protection level to around the cost basis. If it can still dip further, follow along with the move. If there’s a sudden rebound, first protect the outcome—don’t get greedy for the last bite.

Risk control done upfront is called rationality; cutting after you’re already wrong is called a valiant wrist cut. This isn’t the time to chase shorts—there will be opportunities later. When a new structure forms, we’ll look again.
