Qutinet Technologies: June smartphone camera module sales increased 21.6% year over year

Chitronic Technology announced that in June 2026, the company and its joint venture, Chitronic India, sold the following quantities of its main products: smartphone camera modules 39.715 million units, down 12.0% month-over-month and up 21.6% year-over-year; among these, camera modules with under 32.00 million pixels totaled 25.006 million units, down 9.8% month-over-month and up 56.0% year-over-year; camera modules with 32.00 million pixels and above totaled 14.709 million units, down 15.5% month-over-month and down 11.5% year-over-year. Other-segment camera modules and lidar totaled 1.785 million units, down 23.9% month-over-month and up 5.0% year-over-year. The combined total of camera modules and lidar was 41.500 million units, down 12.6% month-over-month and up 20.8% year-over-year. Biometric recognition modules totaled 11.961 million units, down 13.4% month-over-month and down 13.9% year-over-year. For the period January to June 2026, the cumulative totals were: smartphone camera modules 239.0 million units; other-segment camera modules and lidar 12.314 million units; and biometric recognition modules 86.948 million units. In June, Chitronic India sold 10.08 million camera modules, up 6.3% month-over-month and up 261.0% year-over-year; and sold 1.28 million biometric recognition modules, down 25.3% month-over-month and down 36.6% year-over-year.
