This profit has me feeling both thrilled and afraid—afraid that by tomorrow the market will realize what happened and block me.

A few days ago, before bed, it was just swinging back and forth. This morning when I opened the chart, $WIF had already spelled out the direction clearly and unmistakably.

When I thought this move was completely out of the picture, I went back and reviewed the details of WIF: every push higher was laborious, the overhead resistance never really loosened, volume looked weak, and there was no sign of buyers continuing the momentum.

The rebound looked like it had some action, but in reality it was more like bleeding the patience of late longs.

So instead of betting on a breakout, I executed a long position near 0.1891. When price moved to 0.1485, the post-trade review for this round of shorts showed a profit of +1036.5%. It started sluggish, but later it paid out cleanly and decisively.

Take profit when it’s time to take it. First close 80%, and keep the remaining 20% to protect with the cost basis. If the selloff continues, let the profits run; even if a rebound appears, you still need to guard the portion you’ve already secured first.

Have a plan before the session, maintain discipline during the session, and reflect after the session. This isn’t the time to rush. If you miss this leg, don’t worry—watch when the new structure forms, and move again when the next wave’s signal comes in.
