To be honest, what really tests people in this trade isn’t the drop—it’s that stretch of sideways consolidation before the fall, so quiet it makes your hands itch. The price kept grinding back and forth around 0.05769. I even started to doubt whether I was overthinking, but every time it pushed up, it left a retracement candle behind; the sell pressure never truly disappeared.

After the market took off, a lot of people probably only started chasing shorts then, but what mattered to me more was whether I could hold my position. There were bounces in the middle, and even brief pump-fake moves, but the price didn’t change its bearish rhythm. In the end, it moved from 0.05769 to 0.05601, and the result recorded as +207.86%. To take a bite out of this move, it depended on not getting kicked off the train by boredom and fear at the same time.

Old hands in the crypto space all know: the easiest way to lose money is often not being wrong, but being right and then messing with it afterward. After the short-side played out this time, I’m even more convinced by my original judgment. Not because I turned bearish only after it fell, but because the issue of insufficient high-level buy support had always been there; patience finally earned its payoff.
