This market action in the beginning is really exhausting—coin prices keep surging up and then falling back; it looks like a breakout a few times, and then, in the blink of an eye, selling pressure pushes it back down. I watched how @ around 0.2144 behaved. I didn’t panic and get off just because of a fake breakout. Instead, I felt that the area above was increasingly starting to look like nobody was willing to take the other side.
The easiest mistake to make in the middle is chasing the dip and going short as prices fall, only to have a single spike wipe out your momentum. I was indeed a bit nervous during that pullback, but the price never returned to the key level. After that, the bears hit back again, dragging it from 0.2144 down to 0.2022. In the end, the result was +276.27%. This wasn’t a bet on direction—it was waiting for the market itself to reveal its flaw.
A lot of retail traders don’t necessarily judge wrong; they just lose patience once the grind takes too long. This trade today made me glad I wasn’t carried away by a fake breakout. The bear case was validated during the selloff. Going forward, when facing similar pressure at high levels, I’ll still first look for follow-through, and then decide whether to get in.
