I just wanted to take a quick look at the chart, but the shorts went ahead and wrote the answer for me. A few days ago, on the evening of [that night], the price repeatedly surged on the chart; $TAO looked lively, but in reality every time it went up, there was no real follow-through, and volume didn’t truly catch up. I watched TAO stall in the high range without moving, and I judged it more like a rebound that’s burning off momentum rather than a valid breakout. So I executed a long position near 258.4, waiting for the pullback after it couldn’t break higher.

Now the price has come to 189.9. This short position’s unrealized profit shows +1278.49%, and this chunk of profit has been cashed out—turning out the earlier waiting wasn’t in vain.

First close 80%, lock in the main portion; move the protection level on the remaining 20% to around the cost basis. If it keeps selling off, let the profits run. If it bounces back, don’t give back what you’ve already taken.

Being flat is not a crime; opening trades recklessly is the mistake. For friends who haven’t boarded yet, don’t chase the drop. Missing this leg doesn’t mean there’s no opportunity—wait for the next set of signals to act.
