$ETC ‌Positive catalysts (short-term core trading momentum)

1. Just completed a 20% block reward halving

2. Expectations for an Olympia upgrade by year-end

3. A scarce PoW smart contract chain

4. Total token supply capped at 210.7 million

Practical trading strategy reference:

Long-term swing (2–6 months, betting on the Olympia upgrade by year-end)

Suitable for: capital that won’t be needed for 6+ months, can withstand 30%+ drawdowns, and only takes small positions to bet on the narrative

1. Position limit: ETC total position (spot) must not exceed 5% of total crypto assets; absolutely no heavy positions.

2. Staggered spot accumulation plan:

- First layer base position 30%: light entries in the 6.0–6.50 current-price range

- Second layer add-on 30%: buy the dip to add at deep support from 5.20–6.00

- Remaining 40%: if it drops below 5.00, give up adding positions and exit unconditionally with a stop-loss

3. Tiered take-profit plan:

- First take-profit 40%: 7.40–7.60; if the rebound meets resistance, take some profits off the table first

- Second take-profit 40%: 8.40–8.80; significantly reduce exposure at major mid-term resistance

- Remaining 20% base position: hold until the Olympia upgrade is implemented; if there are no ecosystem positives, fully exit

4. Hard stop-loss: if the daily closing price breaks below 5.00, sell everything and leave the market; don’t hold to average down costs.

How can trading 7 million+ in 24 hours be good news? Early on, the cost is stuck on zombie coins. If it keeps quietly dropping, only then will there be a chance after it drops to 3–4.
