To be honest, what tests you most in this round isn’t finding a short entry point—it’s whether you can still hold back from chasing when the market stubbornly refuses to drop. Once the price came close to 16.26, it looked pretty strong on the surface. But in reality, every time it surged higher, it was pushed back down. I watched it for a long time, and kept asking myself whether I’d misread it.
Later, the signals from the order book became more and more direct: the rebound had no volume, while the rise-to-failure-to-follow-through moved faster and faster. What started out as a lively pump slowly turned into sell pressure. When the price reached 14.54, my short call was confirmed, and the result was recorded at +750.57%. This time, I turned patience into gains.
The scariest part along the way is getting antsy and wanting to trade. When you see other people chasing and getting on board, while you’re still waiting, it really wears on you. Luckily, I wasn’t spooked by short-term volatility, and I didn’t exit early just because of a few rebounds.
Now I’m increasingly convinced that a good short isn’t made by guessing the exact key level—it’s about waiting for high-level support/consolidation to form and then show its cracks. I’m not certain because the market is falling; it’s because the weakness I saw earlier never disappeared.
