Hormuz Vessel Traffic Drops Nearly 50% as Brent Nears $92

Weekly vessel traffic through the Strait of Hormuz fell nearly 50% to 127 ships in the week ending July 19. Brent crude briefly reached $91.63 per barrel on Tuesday before retreating to $91.26 at 5:00 PM Eastern Time. WTI crude rose 2.3% to $84.38 per barrel. Indian Oil and Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals suspended crude oil loading from Iraq.
