China’s eVTOL completes a public flight in Kazakhstan

Fengfei Aviation Technology announced today that, together with Alatau Pioneer Air Group (AAAG), it completed a public flight of an “advanced air traffic” 2-ton-class eVTOL in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. This public flight is a key component of the systematic deployment of urban air mobility (UAM) in Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan has enacted legislation to include eVTOL in its transportation framework, and this flight is also the country’s first eVTOL flight following the implementation of those rules.
