Iranian media: Explosions reported in multiple places across Iran

According to a report from the Islamic Republic of Iran News Agency on the 21st, from the evening of the 20th to the early hours of the 21st, multiple explosions were reported in Iran’s southern Hormozgan Province and in the southeastern Sistan and Baluchestan Province, and the air defense system in Iran’s southern Bushehr Province had been activated. The report said that explosions were heard in counties including Abbas Port, Sirik, Lengeh Port, and Gashm in Hormozgan Province, as well as in counties such as Chabahar and Konarak in Sistan and Baluchestan Province. Citing local officials, the report said that at least 14 explosions were heard in Chabahar and Konarak. Iranian media also reported that early on the 21st, explosions were heard in two major southern and central Iranian cities—Shiraz and Isfahan.
