#SummerCreationCamp SummerCreationCamp

I have been thinking a lot about what people actually need this summer. Not another tutorial to save and never watch. Not another challenge that dies in week 2. People need structure, feedback, and a reason to finish something. That is why we are running Summer Creation Camp again in 2026.

This is not a course. It is 6 weeks of building in public with other people who are serious about making things. By the end you will have one finished project you are proud of, and the skills to make the next ten.

Here is everything you need to know.

The problem we are solving

Over the last year I talked to students, freelancers, founders, and full time employees. The story was the same everywhere.

Everyone wants to create. A YouTube channel. A newsletter. A product. A portfolio. A brand. But three things get in the way.

First, no deadline. Without a deadline, it always becomes "next month".

Second, no feedback. You post and hear nothing, so you assume it is bad and you stop.

Third, no proof. When it is time to get a job, a client, or an audience, you have nothing to show except ideas.

Summer Creation Camp fixes that. We give you a deadline, a group, mentors, and a clear path to ship.

What it is

6 weeks. Cohort based. Fully online. About 8 to 10 hours per week.

You pick one project on day 1 and you work on it for 6 weeks. You are not learning in theory. You are learning by doing, with people watching and helping.

We cap it at 200 people so mentors can actually review your work. Last year we filled in 9 days.

Who it is for

If you are a student and you are tired of only having class assignments to show recruiters, this is for you.

If you are a freelancer who wants better clients and higher rates, this is for you.

If you are a founder who needs to build in public and get your first users, this is for you.

If you are working a 9 to 5 and you want to start a side project or personal brand, this is for you.

You do not need to be technical. Last year we had writers, designers, marketers, developers, and coaches. The only requirement is that you are willing to ship something by the end.

How it works week by week

Week 1 Foundations and Focus

We cut the noise. You choose your lane. Personal brand, product, content series, or service. We do an audit of what you already have. We set a concrete 6 week goal. Not "grow". Something like "publish 12 videos", "launch and get 100 signups", "ship 3 client projects". You also meet your small group. This is the group that will hold you accountable.

Week 2 Skills Sprint

Two tracks based on your goal. We run live workshops on storytelling, editing, design, copywriting, product thinking, distribution, and AI workflows. Everything is taught by people who are doing it right now. You leave with templates, checklists, and SOPs you can reuse.

Week 3 Build Week 1

Ship version 1. It will be messy. That is the point. Daily check ins. Live critique sessions where we tear apart 5 projects and everyone learns. The goal is to get something out in the world.

Week 4 Distribution and Launch

Making is half the battle. This week is about getting it seen. How to write a launch post that does not feel cringe. How to pitch. How to get your first 100 viewers, users, or clients. We bring in creators who grew from zero in the last 12 months to show exactly what they did.

Week 5 Build Week 2

Take feedback and ship version 2. This is where quality jumps. You add polish, you fix what broke, you double down on what worked. Mentors do 1 on 1 office hours.

Week 6 Demo Day and Next Steps

Everyone presents. We invite hiring managers, agencies, and investors. Last year 3 people got job offers from demo day. 7 got freelance clients. 2 raised pre seed. But even if that does not happen, you leave with a finished project, a portfolio piece, and a network.

What makes 2026 different

Three things have changed since last year.

One, AI is now part of the workflow. We are not teaching you to generate spam. We are teaching you to use AI to 10x your output while keeping your voice. Research, first drafts, editing, thumbnails, code boilerplate, idea generation. But also where not to use it. Audiences can tell when something is generic.

Two, the bar for quality is higher. Algorithms reward retention. People are tired of low effort content. So we spend more time on craft. Hooks. Editing. Design. Product UX. You will be pushed.

Three, the market rewards proof. Degrees matter less. Portfolios matter more. Companies are hiring directly from demo days. We have built pipelines with 20 companies who are looking for talent from the camp.

What you will actually make

Here are real examples from last year.

A design student made a 3 part video series on UI patterns. It got 40k views. She now has 2 brand deals.

A developer shipped a micro SaaS for creators to track sponsors. 200 paying users in 6 weeks.

A marketer turned LinkedIn into a daily series and landed a Head of Growth role.

A college team started a podcast and got their first sponsor in week 5.

A writer launched a paid newsletter and hit 1000 subscribers.

None of them were famous before. They just had structure.

Mentorship

You are not doing this alone. Each cohort has 4 mentors. They do office hours twice a week. They review your work. Last year our mentors included a YouTube editor who works with 5M channels, a founder who sold a dev tools company, and a brand strategist who has worked with Fortune 500s. They will tell you what is not working and help you fix it.

Community

This is the secret weapon. You will be in a group with 200 other people building at the same time. You will find collaborators, first customers, and friends who push you. Our alumni group is still active 8 months later. People are still hiring each other.

Time commitment

Plan for 8 to 10 hours per week. 2 live sessions, 1 office hour, and the rest is building. If you cannot commit, do not join. This only works if you show up.

Pricing and access

We kept it accessible. The full 6 weeks costs less than one college course. We also have scholarships for students and for creators from underrepresented backgrounds. We do not want cost to be the reason you do not join.

Applications are open now. We start in July.

Why I care

I have been creating online for 8 years. The thing that changed everything for me was not a course. It was deadlines. It was feedback from people better than me. It was seeing other people ship and feeling like I had to keep up.

That is what we are trying to recreate.

In 2026, the people who win will be people who can communicate, build, and ship. AI will handle average. Humans will win on taste, story, and execution. This camp is training for that.

If you are on the fence, ask yourself 3 questions.

Do I have a project I have been putting off for 3 months.

Do I want feedback from people who are better than me.

Do I want to be around other people who are building.

If you said yes to 2, apply.

What happens after

You keep access to the community. You keep all templates and SOPs. We do quarterly alumni check ins. We feature the best projects. And we keep making introductions.

A note on AI and authenticity

We are not here to teach you how to flood the internet with AI slop. We are here to teach you how to use AI as an assistant so you can spend more time on the human parts. Ideas. Story. Taste. That is what people pay for. That is what companies hire for.

Final thoughts

Summer is short. You can spend 6 weeks watching tutorials and feeling busy. Or you can spend 6 weeks shipping something real.

If you want the second one, come build with us.

Application takes 10 minutes. It asks what you want to build and why. I read every one.

If you have questions about whether this is right for you, message me. Tell me what you want to build. I will give you an honest answer.

Let us make this the summer you finally ship.
