The London Stock Exchange plans to launch a night trading platform in the first half of next year

Reportedly, Julia Hoggett, CEO of the London Stock Exchange, said the LSE plans to launch a night trading platform in the first half of next year. The new platform will operate independently of the LSE’s main market and will initially offer exchange-traded products, including funds tracking UK or US equity markets. The report says the night trading platform will run from 5:00 p.m. to 7:50 a.m. the following day, with trading paused from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for end-of-day processing. The LSE’s main market will maintain regular trading hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Jiemian News)
