Wandong Medical: Expects to turn from profit to loss in the first half of 2026, with a net loss of $82.5 million–$101 million

Wandong Medical Co., Ltd. announced that it expects net profit attributable to the owners of the parent company for the first half of 2026 to be between -$101 million and -$82.5 million, compared with net profit of $51.3 million in the same period last year, representing a swing from profit to loss. The company also expects net profit after deducting non-recurring gains and losses to be between -$111 million and -$93.01 million. The main reasons for the anticipated loss in performance are a decline in gross margin due to centralized procurement’s “price-for-volume” strategy, an increase in selling and R&D expenses, and higher exchange losses caused by currency exchange rate fluctuations.
