When the screen is full of green lights, the easiest thing is for people to rush to put their positions all in at once, but what I care about more is: did this pullback leave any signs in advance? A few nights ago, the price action kept oscillating. Every time $OPN surged, it fell short by just a breath; once it got close to a key level, it was repeatedly knocked back, and the buy-side support was clearly unable to keep up.
So around 0.1710, I chose to open a long. Not because I’m afraid of upside, but because the rebound never had volume—trading activity was low. Once the shorts start pressing, it’s easy to lose the key level. At this moment, 0.062 has already fallen to a lower position; the return rate is +3069.71%, and the market finally confirmed my call.
First, close the +3069.71% gains; put the profit in your pocket. The remaining 20% will continue to be held, with the protective stop moved to around the cost basis. If it keeps dumping, let the profits run. If it bounces back, don’t give back the portion you’ve already taken.
Risk control done in advance is called rationality; cutting losses after they happen is called a soldier’s severed arm. This is not the time to chase the drop—wait for a new structure to form. There are still opportunities; don’t be in a hurry.
