This time, I was able to get filled on the short. The key wasn’t that I only chased after seeing a dump—it was that earlier, the price had surged up at the high end several times, but no one was stepping in to take it. I started paying attention around 4.25647. When the price kept grinding back and forth at that high-level range, it was honestly quite torturous. A lot of people were scared off by fake breakouts and didn’t dare to make a move. I also almost got carried away because I waited too long.

What really made me decide to keep holding was this: after the high and the pullback, the follow-through support kept getting weaker and weaker. The rebounds had no strength, but the selling pressure came in wave after wave. In the middle, there was also one more “price spike” that nearly threw my mindset off, but I didn’t start reacting just because of short-term fluctuations—the timing/rhythm of the shorts wasn’t broken.

Later, the price kept moving all the way to 0.15235. The result of this trade corresponds to +1898.48%. Honestly, the hardest part is when the market doesn’t give an answer right away. But if your original judgment is still playing out, you can’t be washed out just by a few rebound candles.

This round made me even more convinced of the logic of holding pressure at high levels. It’s not that you only decide to go bearish after it drops—you could already see the problem earlier from those failed attempts to push higher and the weakening of the support, which had already been signaling issues in advance. When shorting, the biggest fear is chasing at the low. The truly comfortable opportunity is often hidden at a place where nobody is willing to take it.
