Last night was calm and uneventful, but today the bears suddenly kicked the door open. This move on the chart is indeed decisive. A few days ago, before bed, I watched $ICP repeatedly test at high levels. The price always failed to push through—once the sell orders showed up, it clearly went soft. I judged this was not a breakout building up momentum, but a pullback window after insufficient follow-through.

Back then, I opened a long position around 2.528. The key wasn’t to bet on direction—it was to see that the volume didn’t keep up and that nobody was stepping in on the way up. I decided to wait until its weakness showed. Now the price is at 2.126, with floating gains of +765.8%. This profit finally gets realized—timing was nailed.

First, close 80% to take the bulk of it off the table. Move the remaining 20%’s protection level to around the cost basis; if it keeps sliding, let the profit run. If it bounces back, don’t give back what you already took.

Don’t treat one realized profit as a reason to get impulsive for the next move. Being in cash is not a crime—opening trades recklessly is the mistake. Friends who haven’t gotten in yet, don’t chase. Wait for the new structure and the next wave of signals before acting.
