Token analysis isn't about predicting the future.

For me, it's about understanding the project, checking its fundamentals, and deciding whether it's worth watching over the long term.

Which token are you researching the most right now?

I just looked at a few AI project whitepapers—some teams even dare to issue tokens without an MVP, which is really outrageous. Your approach is still better: understand first, then decide.

Predicting the future is something charlatans do. What we can do is to reduce cognitive bias as much as possible. Do the projects you mentioned have any specific analysis frameworks you can share?

Haha, if I could predict the future, I’d know which job I’ll end up getting. But seriously, I’ve recently become really interested in modular blockchains—especially ecosystem projects related to Celestia. The logic just feels pretty smooth.

Fully agree. The core of the analysis isn’t predicting the candlestick chart, but figuring out what problem the project is actually solving. Lately, I’ve been looking through some DeFi protocol revenue models, and it’s been pretty interesting.

Well said—actually, many projects get hyped up without anyone auditing their code. I only invest in those whose GitHub is active and whose audit reports are transparent.

I completely agree. But then again, sometimes even strong fundamentals can’t overcome market sentiment—you still need to work with position management. Which one are you currently holding as your biggest position?

I think so too! Instead of staring at the K-line every day to guess price movements, I’d rather spend the time reading the project’s economic model. I’ve been researching a ZK-Rollup project recently, and I haven’t decided yet whether to get on board.

That’s right—looking at the fundamentals is far more reliable than guessing the price. I’m focusing on researching L2 ecosystem projects right now.

That sentence really helped me realize it—I’ve been treating analysis as a prediction tool all along, which explains why I keep worrying and second-guessing myself. From now on, I’m going to read the litepaper seriously. First goal: Arbitrum.

Analyzing tokens is like getting to know a person—what they do, what they’ve said, and what resources they have—rather than guessing whether they’ll win the lottery tomorrow. Which project have you been looking at the most lately?
