This viewpoint is very solid. In the crypto market, volatility is high and uncertainty is high, so aiming for stable returns is far more sensible than chasing higher yields. When I choose a trader, I focus on whether his maximum drawdown is within 10%, and I also look at his live trading performance for at least more than 3 months—not just his one-week return rate.

Many beginners only look at the top three accounts on the profit leaderboard, but don’t realize those accounts may simply have bet correctly on the direction or used extremely high leverage. Once the market turns, they face massive drawdowns and even liquidation. Although stable traders may not rank at the very top, their strategies are often tested over time: drawdowns are controllable and their profit curves are smooth. Copying trades like these is what helps you maintain a good mindset in long-term investing and achieve real compounding effects.
