When the screen is full of green lights, it’s easiest for people to rush to bottom-buy—and it’s also easiest for them to forget how to close out their shorts. When the price suddenly dropped during the session, I first looked at how strong $BNB ’s pullback was, and found that the rebound stayed weak the whole time. After it fell, the market didn’t rebound quickly, and the shorts didn’t get out.
Earlier, BNB had pushed up around 639.40, with relatively low trading volume. The price looked like it was being lifted, but in reality, nobody was willing to keep taking bids. At the time, I advised waiting for the sell pressure to run out, and I followed the plan to open longs—I was waiting for the confirmation of that follow-through after the high-level sell pressure.
Now the price has reached 564.6, and the floating profit shows +830.07%. The answer is already right there on the chart. First, close 80% to lock in the results. Set the remaining 80% with a cost-protection level; if it keeps dipping, it allows the profit to keep extending. Even if it rebounds, it won’t give back the space you’ve already taken.
Risk management comes first—that’s called being rational. If you cut losses only after you’re down, that’s called a soldier’s wrist severed. Chasing dips is just as dangerous. If you didn’t catch the move, don’t rush to top up—this market isn’t short of opportunities; what it lacks is patience.
