CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost said that the size of USDT and USDC inflow transactions into exchanges on the Ethereum network has been continuously declining. The current 30-day moving average is about $2.3 billion, below the roughly $3.7 billion 365-day moving average, and it has fallen to the lowest level since 2025. For comparison, when Bitcoin reached its all-time high, the two metrics were approximately $5.6 billion and $4.3 billion, respectively. Darkfost believes this reflects weaker current market demand and investor interest, but stablecoin inflow peaks often represent a lagging signal.
