Saudi Arabia confirms that multinational coalition forces have carried out strikes against Yemen’s Houthi forces

Odaily Planet Daily news: The official spokesperson for the Saudi-led multinational coalition, Lt. Gen. Turki Al-Maliki, said today (July 25) that the coalition’s military operations are targeting Houthi armed forces’ military objectives—objectives related to the threats to Red Sea shipping. Al-Maliki said that Yemen’s port of Hodeidah was not attacked. All Yemeni ports, including Hodeidah, Ras Isa, and Salif, are open to maritime navigation and operating normally, receiving merchant ships carrying food, cargo, fuel, and construction materials. Flights to Yemen’s airports are also operating normally. The Houthis continue to refuse to allow flights to take off from Sana’a International Airport and continue to besiege the people of Yemen. Al-Maliki reiterated that the coalition command will continue to take all necessary operational measures to protect its vessels and safeguard Saudi Arabia’s interests and national assets. He emphasized that if the Houthis continue hostile actions, the coalition will provide a firm and direct response. (CCTV International News)
