Honestly, when I saw the price keep failing to break higher around 76,861.4, I also had doubts in my mind. After all, the order book at the start didn’t look too bad; shorting recklessly would easily “catch a falling knife,” so I wasn’t waiting for one big bearish candle, but for the support to gradually fade away.
What really made me change my mind was the later fake breakout: the price pushed up but didn’t hold, then got hammered back immediately by selling pressure. After that, every rebound was weaker than the last. Once I held the short position, the price slowly moved to 64,007.7, and the short thesis finally got clear feedback.
This round’s result came to +2,907.77%. It wasn’t as smooth as I imagined in the middle—there were several weak pullbacks that made me itch to take action, and I even almost got off early. Luckily, I didn’t overturn the original judgment due to short-term volatility, and in the end I still fully ate through this leg of the decline.
Trading is sometimes not about who has the biggest nerve, but about who can wait a little longer in uncertainty. As long as the pressure at the highs hasn’t been lifted, I’d rather miss a small part than get emotional and chase that final move.
