Golden Finance reports that on July 25, the latest 《National Informatization Development Report (2025)》 released by the Cyberspace Administration of China shows that in 2025, the value added of core industries of China’s digital economy accounted for more than 10.5% of GDP, and revenue from the digital industries was 39.6 trillion yuan, up 8.8% year over year. The scale of residents’ digital consumption in China reached 25.3 trillion yuan, up 8.7% year over year. At the same time, China’s network infrastructure has been upgraded and improved. By the end of 2025, the total number of 5G base stations in China reached 396k, and two thirds of prefecture-level cities met the gigabit city standard. The number of active IPv6 users reached 869 million.
