Iraq Denies It Is Mediating US-Iran Talks



Jin10 Data July 24—On Friday, Iraq denied a report by The New York Times that Iraq was arranging US-Iran negotiations to achieve a ceasefire. A statement cited by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) from the Prime Minister’s Media Office said the New York Times report published Thursday was “completely unfounded and has nothing to do with reality.” The Prime Minister’s Media Office urged the media to “verify information, rely on official channels, and avoid spreading unverified reports or statements that are attributed to anonymous sources.”
