I’ve been DCA-ing GT for a long time. Honestly, this road hasn’t been easy. The price has kept falling, but I’ve never had the thought of “selling.”
The reason is actually not complicated: my judgment about Gate’s trajectory has never changed. I’d rather believe it’s taking a long-term route than getting caught up in short-term games.
The market is clearly like this now—many platforms are chasing hot topics. Today it’s the U.S. stock narrative, tomorrow it’s another story, the day after that it’s a traffic-driven play; the pace is getting faster and faster. But Gate’s path is a different style—it doesn’t really shout slogans, but it keeps doing things. From its product ecosystem rooted in crypto itself, to gradually bringing traditional assets like U.S. stocks, Hong Kong stocks, and Korean stocks into the mix, I can feel that it’s building a more long-term structure rather than relying on single-point stimulation. And right now, many exchanges— even in the U.S.—don’t seem to be able to pull it off.
Honestly, if you only look at short-term returns, it’s easy to doubt your decision to DCA GT. But what I care more about is the direction behind it: whether a platform is continuously expanding its boundaries, and whether it’s making the “trading” thing more complete—rather than just riding a wave of hype for a while.
So even if my account is down 80% right now, I haven’t changed my strategy. Not because I’m stubborn, but because I feel this spot hasn’t reached the point where I need to change my judgment.
The market always rewards emotion, but real value is often hidden in the stages nobody is talking about. I choose to keep holding, and I’ll keep DCA-ing GT.
