Trump mocks the high cost of the renovation project at the Federal Reserve headquarters

Golden Finance reported that on July 25, U.S. President Trump opened the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner by joking about the dinner awards, then boasting that the cost to build this venue was far lower than that of the Federal Reserve building. Trump said: “It’s great to be back in a place I’m very familiar with, because I built it.” “I’m very proud of that, because the cost to build it was $2.9 billion less than the Federal Reserve building—by the way, the Federal Reserve building is also much smaller in size.”
