Odaily Planet Daily News: U.S. President Trump posted that the EU, as always, directly targets American companies, and these actions will not continue during the Trump administration. "The EU is back again, and as usual, directly targeting great American companies! After imposing a $15 billion fine on Apple, a $3 billion fine on Meta, a $2.5 billion fine on Amazon, and penalties on many other companies, we have just learned that Google—a truly advanced and amazing company—has been fined another $1 billion, with no explanation. This brings the total amount of fines that Google has suffered to more than $18 billion! This illegal and highly discriminatory practice reached such a high level during the first year of the 'Sleepy Joe' (Biden) administration, but it will not continue under the Trump administration. The United States is not Europe's 'ATM,' and we will not allow it to become one! We hereby indicate that we will immediately launch a 301 investigation to investigate this 'predation' of American companies, which in turn harms the interests of U.S. taxpayers. The EU will pay a very high price for this illegal and extremely unethical behavior—precisely the kind of behavior I have been warning them not to do. These fines will be fully withdrawn, and at the same time, we expect to impose hefty tariffs on them in the shortest possible time."
