According to Odaily Planet Daily, Fidelity Public Policy, a unit of Fidelity Investments with $7.1 trillion in assets under management, posted on X on July 24 calling on the U.S. Senate to pass the CLARITY Act to establish a federal regulatory framework for the digital asset market. Fidelity Investments’ 2025 annual report shows that its annual revenue was $37.7 billion, with $7.1 trillion in assets under management, and $1.8 trillion in custody and management. It provides investment platforms for workplace, brokerage, wealth management, and institutional clients. Negotiations related to the CLARITY Act are currently focused on ethical restrictions, stablecoin incentives, and the regulatory division of responsibilities between the SEC and the CFTC. The bill would set disclosure requirements, preserve anti-fraud authority, and establish standards for centralized intermediaries.
