Honestly, the most worth reviewing in this trade isn’t where it ultimately pumped to, but the fact that after the move started, I wasn’t scared by the spike and drop back to get off too early. The price had been chopping around near 0.010718 for quite a while beforehand; the chart looked like it wasn’t doing much. A lot of people probably feel the same way—patience gets consumed until it’s nearly gone.
What I was paying attention to wasn’t a single candle suddenly surging way up, but the fact that after each sell-off, someone kept stepping in, and the key levels weren’t losing ground again. That detail made me feel that the apparent weakness was more like a washout. Even though I was still a bit anxious in my head, I didn’t let a few wick-inserts completely overturn my bullish thesis.
When the market finally truly picked up, the price moved from 0.010718 to 0.013055. This long position finally got its payoff, coming out at +1052.61%. The most comfortable part wasn’t the number itself, but the fact that I didn’t chase the rally to grab a spot, and I wasn’t taken off with my emotions the first time it spiked.
A lot of the time, trading isn’t about who reacts the fastest—it’s about who can wait a little longer between the real and fake breakouts. It wasn’t that I turned bullish because it was rising; it was because the support and follow-through I saw earlier was actually playing out. That feedback made me stay fairly confident in this direction.
