Recently, narratives like parallel execution and sharding have been getting a lot of attention, with people everywhere shouting about new chains that are supposed to be both resilient and fast. I looked around—there are indeed technical highlights on the surface—but honestly, what really matters to me is asset security and the exit path. Do you think you can just rush in with the hype and make money? Turned out liquidity gets pulled out faster than you’d imagine, and when you try to sell, the slippage is so brutal it makes you want to spit 😅
Recently, hardware wallets have been out of stock, and phishing links are also hitting a peak period. Everyone’s security awareness really needs to be fully turned up. Yesterday, I was almost about to click into a “free airdrop” link—luckily I reacted in time, only to find it was a highly fake Twitter account… Scared me enough that I immediately changed a few passwords. Anyway, the market may be lively, but don’t risk exposing everything just to chase trends.
By the way, have you run into those small projects that look kind of cute, and then when you check, the contract permissions are all messed up? I ran into one: the promotion was as pretty as flowers. I thought I finally found a gem—turns out it was just a carefully packaged honeypot… Now I only dare to look at things with a clearly defined exit path, or I just leave them alone. That’s it for now—I’m off to play hide-and-seek again 🐱
