This week’s market performance recap
This week, ETH has continued to be positioned with a range-trading swing strategy. Profits were captured repeatedly with both long and short directions as the market moved both ways. Across the week, there were multiple long and short setups that realized take-profit. Only one trade hit a stop loss, and overall the trading pace was controllable.
7.21 Evening setup
Short at 1942-1953, stop loss 1968, target 1922, take profit and exit smoothly
Long at 1900-1925, stop loss 1885, target 1938, take profit and exit smoothly
7.22 Midday setup
Long at 1900-1918, stop loss 1882, target 1935, profitable exit
Short at 1942-1950, stop loss 1963, target 1915, profitable exit
7.23 Evening setup
Long at 1885-1900, stop loss 1870, target 1930; this time entered at 1898, hit the stop loss and exited—this was the only losing order for the week
7.24 Evening setup
Long around 1842-1855, stop loss 1830, target 1875-1890 range, take profit and exit
Short around 1885-1900, stop loss 1920, target 1864-1845 range
This week’s trading summary
In a choppy/sideways market, range trading is the most suitable approach for back-and-forth operations. Switch between long and short based on pressure and support. Most of the setups this week reached the expected take-profit levels; only one setup triggered a stop loss.
There is no strategy that wins every trade. It’s more important to maintain a balance between profits and losses. Strictly place and follow stop losses, don’t be greedy with profits, and when targets are reached, take profits in batches. If a trade turns into a loss, don’t stubbornly hold on—keep to your risk-control bottom line, and only then can you stand firm in the market long-term.
